Further baking exploits

And in the oven today we will find what my recipe called “Thumb Cookies”. The last two batch of cookies were based on the same basic sugar cookie recipe, this one involved rolling the chilled dough into balls, pressing your thumb in the center to make a well (hence the name) then filling it with preserves. I used apricot and strawberry in mine. They were pretty good but next time I think I need to make my well a little deeper since there was a tiny bit of jam spillage.
